    From its inception, Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C. has focused on representing individuals, especially those who have been injured because of negligence of others.

    In 1981, Robert Vogel founded the Grand Forks law firm that still bears his name and philosophy.  While he was completing law school, Roger R. Sundling, M.D., began to work with Mr. Vogel, as a law clerk, on medical negligence cases.  They combined their expertise to assist clients who had been injured by health care negligence.  Mr. Sundling joined the firm as a licensed attorney in 1983.  Alvin O. Boucher, who had also worked at the firm as a law clerk while completing law school, joined the firm as a licensed attorney in 1984.  Alice R. Senechal joined the firm in 1986.

    After Mr. Vogel retired in 1996, Mr. Sundling, Mr. Boucher, and Ms. Senechal became the firm's shareholders.  Mr. Vogel died in 2005.  The firm's newest attorney, Ashley M. Samuelson, joined the firm in 2008.  She had also worked for the firm as a law clerk while attending law school.

Medical Negligence

    More than half of Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C.'s clients are individuals who have been injured because of negligence of a physician or other health care provider.  The attorneys review medical records of potential clients without charge.

Personal Injury

    Individuals who have been injured in car crashes, workplace accidents, and other mishaps can get assistance in obtaining financial compensation for their injuries.  Potential cases are reviewed without charge.

Professional Licensure and Contracts

    Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C. assists licensed professionals (physicians, nurses, social workers, accountants, and others), if complaints are filed against them with their licensing boards, or when they have questions about professional contracts.

Social Security Disability Claims

    Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C. represents many individuals whose claims for Social Security disability benefits have been denied.  Potential cases are reviewed without charge, and, if Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C. represents an individual on these cases, a fee is generally due only if benefits are awarded.

    Robert Vogel Law Office, P.C. will consider representation in other types of civil cases, though the firm does not work in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, or criminal defense.
